Bob Attends F1 Race at COTA

Formula 1 Driver Bob Bondurant Attends Circuit of Americas First Formula 1 Race in Austin, Texas November 18.

Bob Bondurant, Ferrari F-1 Driver and founder of the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving will attend a book signing and documentary premiere in Austin Thursday, prior to attending the United States Grand Prix.

“As an American who raced against the worlds best in Europe, I would love to see American race fans get behind Formula 1 on our turf,” said Bondurant.

Bob competed in nine Formula One races in 1965 and 1966, with a best finish of fourth in the 1966 Monaco Grand Prix. His first Formula One start was with Ferrari, in the 1965 United States Grand Prix. He was invited to drive with Ferrari because of his strong performance in a World Sportscar Championship race in France.

Bob was invited to the Circuit of Americas track in August 2012. He was given the opportunity to test and review the track in his corvette…
