FROM PIR 4.10.08 JIMMIE JOHNSON ON BONDURANT:"I've had a great time over the years at the school, everything from working on my road course stuff before we got to Sonoma to taking friends out there. I've taken our crew through the shifter cart school and we came out a day early to do that. It's just a great facility with knowledgeable people and it's really a lot of fun. We've had a surprise appearance from Bob (Bondurant) from time to time and that helps things out there as well. It's a great school. I'm really a big fan of everything they do out there."

VISIT WITH CASEY MEARS IN PHOENIX: "I went to Bondurant last year to reiterate the fundamentals of what you're trying to do on a road course and to knock some of the rust off.... I actually went to Bondurant years ago, when I was about fifteen I went there with my cousin. I have been around there quite a bit" said Mears about his experience at the Bob Bondurant School.

Bondurant training delivers. Jimmie Johnson’s NASCAR Nextel Cup Championship marks the 24th time since 1980 that a Bondurant trained driver has won the NASCAR Cup Championship. In 2007, eight of the top twelve drivers in the “Chase” are Bondurant trained. We applaud Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer, Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Denny Hamlin on a great season.
