Half-Day FUNdamental

Group Size: Up to 150 (additional track rental required for larger groups)
Vehicles: Cadillac CTS, Pontiac G8, Pontiac Solstice, Bondurant ProKart
Program Length: 4 hours

The Half-Day (4 hour) driving program, known as "The FUNdamentals Course", was specifically designed for groups. This course emphasizes fun while experiencing the art of high performance driving. After a short ground school, class begins behind the wheel of our specially-prepared vehicles. The entire group is then separated equally and rotated through each of the driving exercises.

Participants will receive four hours of highly skilled instruction by the Bondurant staff, vehicle/property damage insurance, and use of a Bondurant car. Prizes will be awarded for the best time on the autocross along with a special award for the least successful performance (otherwise called the "Cone Killer"). Many students say taking the FUNdamentals course allows them to understand the basics of car control, and experience the thrill of driving a real racecar. The program includes any four of the following exercises:

ProKart Grand Prix

Group Size: Up to 100
Vehicles: Bondurant ProKarts
Program Length: 2 - 4 hours

The ProKart Grand Prix is a race program that was specifically designed for corporate entertaining, team building, and group events. The program utilizes our 10hp Briggs and Stratton powered ProKarts, which are capable of over 50mph and easy to drive fast right from the start. The time length of the ProKart Grand Prix is approximately two hours for 10-25 participants, three hours for 26-50 participants, and four hours for 51-100 participants.

Intro: To begin, there is a driver briefing which covers the unique controls of a kart including driver safety, flags, and the rules of racing.

Getting Ready: Now it's off to the track where each person is separated into race groups, then assigned safety gear and rotated through the program. There are four to 10 participants per race group. The program begins with a "lead and follow" exercise with no passing, followed by a practice session with passing. Finally, each group is ready for wheel-to-wheel racing!

The Race: Each race is eight to 10 laps. The top one to five finishers of each race advance to the main event. There will be a last chance qualifier in which the top one to five finishers advance to the main event. The main event is eight to 10 laps and the winner is awarded with a Bondurant t-shirt and a podium presentation.

ProKart Enduro

Program Length: 2 - 4 hours

The ProKart Enduro is a race program designed specifically for the ultimate in team building. This program utilizes our 10hp Briggs and Stratton powered ProKarts which are capable of over 50mph and simple to drive fast right from the start.

Getting Ready: The driving starts with an open practice session for all competitors in no particular order. This gives everyone the opportunity to learn the karts and the track. Depending on the size of the group there may be a second session in which teams will be able to practice pit stops, determine the driving order, how long each person will drive, and plan race strategies.

The Race: The typical main event is one hour in length, but varies with group size. At the finish the checkered flag will fall and the team with the most laps wins.

Group Shifter Kart Experience

Group Size: Up to 12
Vehicles: Bondurant Shifter Karts
Program Length: 2 - 4 hours

Don’t pass up the chance to drive the quickest vehicle on the property! Our shifter karts are capable of reaching 100mph in just under 6 seconds! These are not your normal go karts! These rockets are powered by 125cc 6-speed engines and can pull upwards of 2.5g's in cornering. To start, you will have a 15-minute ground school to get you acquainted with the karts, then you're on the track for a short shifting exercise, and the rest is track time!
