"On my way home from the class I was in the right lane, transitioning to another freeway when an 18-wheeler two lanes over blew a rear tire. I drove around the flying rubber and then quickly accelerated to get out of the way of the truck as it rapidly moved into me to get off the road. No panic. I just did what I was taught. I took the class because I see too much scary stuff happening on the freeway, but never expected the class to pay for itself the very next day. Thanks! It was great fun and useful."

"Hello! I just wanted to write a quick message thanking your school, as I'm pretty sure what I learned there saved my life last night! About 5 years ago I took the 2-day High Performance Driving Course, without a doubt some of the most fun I've ever had and I still recommend the course and school to friends.

Well, last night I was driving on the northbound I-5 from Los Angeles to San Francisco at about 2 AM. The I-5 is only a 2-lane highway (separated by about a 30 foot median) in each direction for about 300 miles.

I started closing distance on a slow driver in the left hand lane. He was in an older pickup truck, and I was closing to about a 2-3 second distance behind him expecting him to yield to the right when he suddenly jerked slightly to reveal at least two 2-3 foot pieces of truck tire in our lane. He essentially ran right over them, but I swerved slightly to the right to avoid hitting them straight on and no doubt causing a blowout. I was able to avoid the first piece, but the second one hit my drivers side tire (it was so large it broke my fog light housing and knocked off a couple parts of the trim) and took away what road-hold I had left.

Sure enough, I started to fishtail on a two lane road. As soon as I did though, I immediately starting to remember everything I'd learned in the course as far as skid control and recovery. I fishtailed left and right about 5 or 6 times (almost perpendicular to the side of the road a couple of times) before recovering and straightening out.

Without a doubt if I had headed off the embankments on either side of the road at that speed I would've started flipping. As it turns out, a few replacement parts on the car and everything will be back to new. I just wanted to say Thank You though, and it's probably time I came back and brushed up on my skills!"

"I attended this course in mid-April with my son-in-law who attended the 3day version last year and wanted to return for the 4th day in the Formula cars. We both enjoyed all four days immensely, but the formula cars were the summit!Timmy Maddox was our instructor and was helpful, informative, and seemed to be able to tell me exactly what to do to improve in a way that I could relate to perfectly. For a 65 year old guy, I felt like he helped me improve my technique and ability more than I expected. "My daughter just completed your 2-day Teenager Driving Course on March 23, 2007. Just one week later your teaching and the skills you gave her saved her life. She was driving in rain and the car she was in hydroplaned. She started sliding towards a telephone pole and she told me that she did not touch the brake but turned into the skid and applied a little bit of throttle and regained control of the car. She stated that it was the skidcar instruction that you gave her that allowed her to avoid a crash. As a two time graduate of Bob Bondurant, Stunt driving & Instructor; Police Pursuit and Defensive Driving, and a professional stuntman. I can say that Bob bondurant is the top driving school. "My finance and I recently had the pleasure of taking the Advanced Road Racing Course. We both race in SCCA and try to take a different school each year to pick up new tips and get rid of bad habits. After taking this class, I took 6/10's of a second off my fastest lap at our home track and had my highest qualifying and finish ever. My fiance took the pole during qualifying and made it on the podium after coming so close all season. We both know we owe this success to Bondurant, and more importantly our instructor, Austin.
