THE BONDURANT SCHOOL TAKES DELIVERY OF TWO NEW CORVETTE ZR1’S

December 1, 2008 (Chandler, AZ) - The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving took delivery of two new ZR1’s from General Motors today.  The new hot rod from Chevrolet will be used exclusively to train ZR1 owners.  The custom-designed course is included with the purchase of the vehicle from General Motors.

 The exclusive course will allow drivers to learn valuable car control skills while they acquaint themselves with the entire Corvette lineup, using the base C6 with a Z51 suspension package, the Z06, and the new ZR1.  Exercises in car handling include slalom, heel & toe downshift, and timed autocross.  Cross-training in the Corvette ZO6 and C6 will complement the 638 horsepower ZR1.

 "The ZR1 offers a driving experience like no other high performance vehicle on the market.  New owners are going to appreciate their ZR1 on an entirely different level, once they learn the Bondurant method of maximum car control and apply it to these vehicles," said Ken Thom, president of the Bondurant School.
