NEW TEEN COURSE FOR NEW DRIVERS

(Phoenix, AZ) - The Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving announced a teen driving course for new drivers. The course is limited to 24 students and a 3:1 student to instructor ratio. Students will train in the Pontiac Solstice. Cost of the course is $795 with a $200 subsidy provided by General Motors, students pay $595. Designed to provide teens with a much-needed skill set to be a safe driver and respect for the road, the focus of the program is not on achieving the vehicle's limits, but to develop confidence, awareness of their surroundings, and a proper foundation for being a safe driver. Graduates of the New-Teen Driving program will be encouraged to return for the Advanced Teen Driving program as a way to expand their skills, and understand their limits and the vehicle's limits. "With the emphasis on the GDL (graduated driver's license) and teen mortality rates, we created a course for teens who are just beginning in order to support them with the proper skills", said Bob Bondurant, owner and CEO of the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving. Seats available in these upcoming course dates: July 19, 2008 August 16, 2008 September 6, 2008 The School facilities are dedicated to the teen courses scheduled for the above Saturdays. Students must have their permit and minimum twenty-five hours driving experience. Professional instructors from the School will begin ground school at 7:00 a.m. Lunch will be provided and graduation at 4:00 p.m. Parents or legal guardians must personally sign waivers for students under the age of eighteen.
