Driving a Superkart at the Bondurant School of High Performance Driving

So there I was, at 100 mph going down the straight into turn one, next to another guy jockeying for position. I was on the inside, and I would have tried to pass, but then I remembered what my instructor had told me: "…normally when people try to [delay braking] when passing, they either go off or hit each other." This, in combination with, "…but the only real way to flip one of these over is to catch someone else's wheel" made me decide to back off and remain behind the other driver for another lap. This whole adventure started an hour earlier at the Bob Bondurant school of high performance driving.
